TG-Downloader Glossary
Definitions for TG-Downloader terms including app account, namespace, tdata, points, concurrency, Device ID and Telegram message IDs.
| Term | Meaning |

| App account | The TG-Downloader account you register with an email and password; it holds membership and points |
| Telegram account | Your normal Telegram account. Downloads are performed through it |
| Namespace | The internal name of a Telegram account inside the app, used to keep tasks and cache separate |
| Address | A save path. You do not need to configure one for each account. |
| tdata | The folder where Telegram Desktop stores its session; used by Desktop Data Login |
| 2FA | Telegram’s two-step verification password, set under Settings → Privacy and Security |
| Device ID | This computer’s unique identifier on the server; support may ask for it |
| Group / channel | Telegram chats. Channels are usually one-way; groups allow replies |
| Message ID | A message’s number inside its group, shown at the end of its link |
| Private group link | A link shaped like t.me/c/<digits>/<digits>; the active account must have joined |
| Points | The daily download quota for free or expired users. They are charged per completed manual download |
| Concurrency | How many files download at once, set under Settings → Downloads |
| Proxy | A server that relays app traffic when a direct connection is slow or unavailable |
| Polling | A monitor checking for new messages, currently once every 60 seconds |
| Active tasks | Downloads running at the moment, shown at the right of the status bar |
